A chill day

A chill day

Today was more of a chill day. I listened to my body as it needed rest from a long week. There's something sacred about honoring what your body is asking for—and sometimes that's simply to pause.

I moved through a gentle yoga flow, nothing fancy. Just the basics and some light stretching. It reminded me of something I often forget: we spend so much time training our bodies to be strong, to push, to achieve. But we rarely teach them how to soften. How to let go. How to truly relax. That's a skill too, and it deserves just as much attention.

I found this quiet garden with a beautiful gazebo tucked away—the kind of place where time feels different. All to myself. The air was still, the light was warm, and there was nothing to do but be there. No agenda. No performance.

Sometimes the deepest work happens when we're not working at all. When we're just still. When we let ourselves exist without trying to become something else. That's where the real magic lives.
