Community and Love

Community and Love

Moving away from friends, family, and all my loved ones has been the biggest regret of my life. I thought it was the best decision for a fresh start, but I was wrong. I quickly realized the cost of that choice. Now, with nine months until I can move back home and be with my people again, I'm using this time differently—to work on myself, build my brand and businesses, explore the beautiful mountains around me, and connect with my community in meaningful ways.

I came to a place I'd lived before, a place that had always held my heart. And it reminded me of something essential: there are magical and beautiful places all over the world, but you never meet the same people twice. It's not the geography that matters most—it's the people. It's the love.

The human connection. The hugs. The laughter. The deep conversations that happen when you're truly present with someone. These are the things that make life worth living. We are creatures built for love and community. We're wired for belonging.

Being in community with your people isn't just nice—it's a fundamental blessing. It's where we grow, where we heal, where we remember who we are. The bonds we share, the support we give and receive, the simple act of showing up for one another—these are the threads that weave meaning into our lives.

If you're far from your people right now, know that the longing you feel is real and valid. And if you're close to yours, hold them close. Invest in those connections. Show up. Because at the end of the day, love and community are what we're really here for.
